In the GOP weekly address, Rep Buerkle (R-NY) states “The Health Care law flies in the face of what America is supposed to be, and repealing it would revitalize our economy… Then we would finally be able to pursue a common sense step by step approach that protects American’s access to the care they need…”

How does one even begin to respond to such a senseless statement?

Should I point out that the Health Care Law has yet to be implemented and therefore repealing it would not “revitalize” anything?? In fact, the ACA is a necessary measure in promoting preventative care and minimizing inefficiency within our current health care system. Should I also point out that the United States is the ONLY industrialized nation in the world without universal health care?

As for “finally being about to pursue a common sense approach,..” REALLY? As if you, the Republican Party have so passionately  sought to resolve the issues within our broken health care system before??
